We’ve been steadily growing from the ground up for nearly a decade now. Founded by local herbalist John Slattery from his studies as an herbalist and 1000’s of hours of experience with local plants this is a real herbalist’s company. Founded in Tucson, and still located in Tucson we are here to provide our local community with excellent quality herbal products, herb material, and herbal education.
Our office is located in central Tucson. We are generally working Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Our workload revolves around the magnitude and frequency of our online orders, re-sale by local retailers, and farmer’s market activity. Historically, October through April are our busiest months. Production Assistant
Job Description: Responsible for packaging, labeling, inventorying, and stocking a variety of our proprietary tea and cocoa blends. Filling internet orders, and local wholesale orders. Maintaining stock and periodically updating inventory.
All training is provided on the job for this position. There is no previous herbal experience needed, but it may be considered a plus.
Qualities we’re searching for: Dependability – can show up on time, and be available for the work at-hand. Attention to detail – We pride ourselves on the quality of our work. All workers will be expected to uphold (or excel) this level of quality. Ability to work with minimal direction – have the capacity and initiative to take on the basic concepts and specific details associated with tasks and move forward with completion. Problem-solving skills – having the ability to assess a situation and evaluate based upon given knowledge, make choices, and complete the task to your best ability. Communication – keep everyone in the loop when your tasks overlap with others’; be clear about any issues you have within the work environment, or the work itself. Trustworthy – showing responsibility and respect for the work at-hand, and the type of work you have committed to.
Minimum starting wage: $9/hr

Minimum commitment of 6 months (after 30 day test period); 1 year or more preferred.
This is a part-time position (5-10 hours/week to start). There is always room to grow for those who show the skills and the initiative.
